Mr and Mrs Klaws – the portrait

My wife and I must be very special people. In early November, we were actually entertaining Mr and Mrs Klaws for supper! A real privilege considering it was weeks before Christmas Eve when everyone else has to wait for a visit.

However, it turned out to be a working supper as Santa requested a portrait to be painted. He and Mrs Klaws were dressed in their best red robes so I took up the challenge!  This was the most interesting portrait commission that I had received but I had to be sure of one thing – to buy lots of red paint!
